The Sustainable FERC Project is a coalition of environmental and clean energy organizations focused on developing policies for a cleaner, more efficient electric grid (more here). Our blog site is intended as a location for the productive and constructive sharing and exchange of policy ideas for use by all interested members of the coalition and others interested in our issues.
Process: If you’d like to post a blog on the Sustainable FERC Project site, please email the final product, including any graphics attached, to email@example.com with subject line “BLOG POST REQUEST.” Please allow up to 24 hours for your blog to be posted. The blog webpage features all the most recent posts. You can view all posts from a particular blogger by clicking on his or her name.
Content: Blogs related to any Sustainable FERC Project issue are welcome. Blogs should be constructive even if critical. We will not post blogs that are malicious, libelous or abusive, or that are spam or commercial solicitations. The Sustainable FERC Project coalition is housed within the Natural Resources Defense Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. NRDC and the Sustainable FERC Project are prohibited from engaging in political “electioneering,” or from using any of its resources to allow others to engage in electioneering activities. In accordance with this prohibition, content on the Sustainable FERC Project blog may not make any express or implied statement endorsing or opposing any political party or candidate for political office.
All comments offered in the spirit of civil conversation are welcome.
We ask commenters to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Sign comments with your real name (first names are fine) to foster meaningful, civil conversation.
- Be polite and respectful of everyone, even if you strongly disagree with their opinions or beliefs. (Constructive debate: good; personal attacks: not.)
- Contribute relevant information that makes sense within the context of the original post and builds on previous comments.
We will remove comments that are:
- Malicious, libelous or abusive
- Spam, commercial solicitations or self-promoting material
- Irrelevant to the topic or that simply reiterate points made earlier in the conversation
As with blog posts themselves, as the Sustainable FERC Project coalition is housed within Natural Resources Defense Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the Coalition is prohibited from engaging in political “electioneering,” or from using any of its resources to allow others to engage in electioneering activities. In accordance with this prohibition, comments on the Sustainable FERC Project blog page may not make any express or implied statement endorsing or opposing any political party or candidate for political office.
